Create Engaging PowerPoints
Welcome to this training workshop. I am Lene and I will be your dedicated trainer during our 4-hour active virtual training.
This workshop is designed as “action learning”, so please bring one of your own previous PowerPoint presentations and be ready to work on improving the slides during the workshop.
Minimum PowerPoint Skills Required
NB! Please note that a minimum of PowerPoint skills are required. This course is NOT about how to use all the functions in PowerPoint. In this training we’ll learn designing principles to create engaging slides.
Preparatory Tasks
(you should do this before we meet)
1. WATCH THIS VIDEO (10 MINS)
2. FIND ONE OF YOUR OLD POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS (5 MINS)
You should find a PowerPoint presentation that you would like to make more engaging. Preferably a PowerPoint Presentation where you are either:
Presenting a new solution to a problem, or
Suggesting a new approach, or
Presenting new findings that can lead to a change.
3. GET TO KNOW TEMPLAFY (20 MINS)
Spend 20 minutes in Templafy and become familiar with the icons, infographics, photos.
Presenting a new solution to a problem, or
Suggesting a new approach, or
Presenting new findings that can lead to a change.
Almost all presentations start with a personal introduction. But what should you say to make the right impression, leaving the audience trusting you both professionally and personally? Here is the recipe for a “personal elevator pitch”, which you can use as inspiration for delivering a short personal introduction.
