Graphic Hands I — Figures
GRAPHIC HANDS bring clarity to your message. And it makes you come across as an engaged presenter.
Tip: It's a good idea to stand up while watching this video and imitate my hands when I demonstrate the Graphic Hands. In this way you'll start applying the techniques right away.
Your task
Choose a slide with a simple infographic (columns, graphs, other simple illustrations) from a presentation you are about to give. Present that slide while using your hands to draw the visuals (columns or graphs) in the space in front of you.
Get up in front of the camera.
Version 1: Present for 40 seconds. Watch yourself. Correct yourself.
Version 2: Present it again. Watch yourself. Correct yourself.
Version 3: Present it again. Watch yourself. Correct yourself.
Version 4: Present it again. Watch and keep the last recording.
You get much more impact practicing 40 seconds four times than practicing 5 minutes one time.
