1. What’s the situation? Who’s there?
For example: A meeting with the steering group

2. What do you want them to understand? What’s your objective?
For example: I want them to understand that it will cause big problems to delay the deadline.

3. What’s making it difficult? What do you want them to do?
For example: They do not find this important.

4. What do you say?
For example: “I need your support on this”

5. How do they respond? What do they say? How do they respond nonverbally?

For example: They ignore it. One person is sighing heavyly.

6. What would you like to become better at? Formulate this as a question

For example: How do I make myself heard and come across with the things they don’t find important?
